Testing, Testing… One, Two, Three

With business picking up and more staff returning to work , things can get a little crazy! When businesses become busier, it can be easy to forget the small, yet important things to tick off the list, such as making sure statutory testing is complete. We just reminded you, didn’t we?

Tests such as your annual gas safety inspection, firefighting equipment tests and fixed electrical system inspections are important things to ensure the workplace is safe. This is crucial for your business, especially if changes have been made to your organisation during lockdown, including where there are additional equipment or trading areas.

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and Local Authorities have made it their priority this year to ensure businesses understand the importance of regular testing. If you have a visit from an Environmental Health Officer (EHO) in the next 12 months, there is a good chance they will be asking about electrical and gas safety inspections.

Before the rush of the Summer Holidays, now is a great time to check that all of your statutory inspections are up to date.

Stay safe and at the top of your game by checking out the Registry Module on RiskProof, our very own safety management software.

RiskProof is a fantastic way of managing statutory inspections, keeping them all together in one place and setting alerts when inspections are due. RiskProof makes safety simple, allowing you to focus on your team and guests – that’s the way it should be!
