We never stop innovating

This was never more evident than when the Covid-19 pandemic struck in 2020. In weeks, we launched Safe to Trade with the help of leading safety practitioners and industry experts.

A pioneering accreditation scheme that’s helped businesses bounce back by instilling confidence in their customers and workforce that they’re safe to open and trade.

So far, hundreds of companies have signed up to the scheme and are now proudly displaying their Safe to Trade certificate and window stickers to the public.

While we continue to sit on the advisory committee for Safe to Trade, collaborating with local and national government to ensure the scheme remains as effective as possible.

We lead the way

Did you know Shield Safety is the first consultancy in the UK to have a Primary Authority partnership with a local authority? (Milton Keynes Council, if you were wondering).

What this means for our customers is that our solution offers them assured regulatory advice that greatly protects them from enforcement action from local authorities.

All they need to do is follow the food safety guidance in the pack to start to enjoy more care-free days and move much closer to a food hygiene rating of five.

What we live by

At Shield Safety, we take great pride in what we do, our customer service and our work culture. Driving all of this are the values we live and breathe every day.

  • Be the best you
  • Add value. Love what you do
  • Work together to deliver and have fun
  • Aim high and don’t be afraid to fail
  • Respect your colleagues, your work and our customers

It's great to know any issue we raise on the Helpline app is going to addressed quickly. Whenever we've had any compliance concerns, our account manager has got in touch right away.
