The Safe to Trade training course covers the Safe to Trade certification process, the role of Voluntary Third Party Assurance schemes and the significance of UKAS accreditation. The course highlights the benefits of Safe to Trade and demonstrates how to navigate the Safe to Trade register. Throughout the training, participants will gain insights into implementation and pre-audit readiness, understanding how to complete self-assessments and what to expect during audits. The course covers various audit tiers, the audit appeals process and the criteria for different register statuses. Additionally, the training delves into the standards, explaining key points, best practices and how to exceed the standard requirements. It also includes practical guidance on closing non-conformances, navigating the RiskProof system and providing quality evidence. Finally, the course addresses maintaining accreditation, handling downgrade investigations and promoting certified status using Safe to Trade branding. This training equips attendees with the necessary tools to ensure food safety, maintain compliance and effectively promote their certified status. The course can be delivered to a maximum of 12 candidates, remotely or in a classroom and candidates are assessed to ensure their understanding.
