eLearning – Working Safely with DSE

The eLearning course on Working Safely with DSE is designed to familiarise learners with the safe use of Display Screen Equipment (DSE). It aims to equip both employers and employees with the knowledge needed to create a safe working environment when a user of DSE, particularly those working from home. Participants will gain a clear understanding of what constitutes display screen equipment and who is considered a DSE user. The course will cover the various health risks associated with improper use of DSE, including eye strain, musculoskeletal problems and mental stress. Additionally, learners will be taught how to conduct a thorough DSE risk assessment using a checklist provided within the course. Through a combination of interactive modules, practical advice, and regulatory information, this course ensures that managers and their teams are well-informed about their responsibilities. By the end of the training, participants will be able to implement effective strategies to mitigate risks and promote a healthier, safer working environment. Learners are assessed at the end of the course and must achieve a minimum pass mark. Individual licences must be used within a 12 month period.
