eLearning – Food Safety Level 2

The eLearning course on Food Safety Level 2 is perfect for individuals involved in food handling, from chefs to waiting staff. The course covers the fundamental principles of food safety, including identifying food hazards, understanding bacterial and biological risks and maintaining personal hygiene. Participants will also learn about effective cleaning and disinfection procedures, pest control and food safety legislation. Additionally, the course addresses food allergens, their symptoms, and how to manage food poisoning and foodborne illnesses. By the end of the course, learners will be equipped with the knowledge to implement control measures in the kitchen, ensuring all food produced is safe to eat. Learners are assessed at the end of the course and must achieve a minimum pass mark. Individual licences must be used within a 12 month period.
