eLearning – Drugs Awareness

The eLearning course on Drugs Awareness aims to equip learners with a comprehensive understanding of drug-related issues, particularly for those working in high-risk industries such as hospitality. Participants will learn to identify Class A, B, and C drugs, understand their effects and recognise the penalties for unlawful possession and use on licensed premises. This course also covers the implementation of anti-drugs policies and provides guidance on spotting and stopping drug use and drug dealing. Learners will gain the confidence to handle drug-related medical emergencies and effectively manage the risks associated with drug use on licensed premises. This training is especially pertinent for personal licence holders, premises supervisors, door supervisors and bar staff. By raising awareness of the legal and social issues surrounding drug use, this course helps ensure safer environments for both staff and customers. Learners are assessed at the end of the course and must achieve a minimum pass mark. Individual licences must be used within a 12 month period.
