eLearning – Award in Underage Sales Prevention (AUASP)

The eLearning course Award for Underage Sales Prevention (AUASP) focuses on preventing unlawful sales of age-restricted products. It covers crucial topics such as identifying age-restricted items, refusing service to underage individuals and understanding the legal penalties for non-compliance. Participants will learn effective communication strategies for asking for proof of age, handling refusals and managing aggressive behaviour. Additionally, the course provides insights into proper record-keeping techniques to ensure compliance with the law. This training is essential for bar and counter staff working in licensed premises, helping them to uphold legal standards and prevent unlawful sales. Individual licences must be used within a 12 month period.
