eLearning – Award for Personal License Holders (APLH)

The eLearning course for Award for Personal Licence Holders (APLH) is an essential qualification for anyone looking to obtain a personal licence. The APLH training covers a broad range of topics, including the legal framework and responsibilities associated with holding a personal licence. Learners will gain a thorough understanding of licensing objectives, compliance with licensing authorities, and specific legislation related to personal and premises licences. Additionally, the course addresses the legal and social responsibilities of a personal licence holder, the impact of illegal drugs and alcohol and the protection of children from harm. This training is crucial for those in positions such as the Designated Premises Supervisor (DPS), managers, assistant managers, supervisors, and staff aspiring to these roles. The course ensures that all participants are well-equipped to manage licensed premises responsibly and effectively. Learners are assessed at the end of the course and must achieve a minimum pass mark. Successful candidates will receive a Level 2 qualification, which is necessary for applying for a personal licence. Individual licences must be used within a 12 month period.
