eLearning – Age Verification (Scotland)

The eLearning course on Age Verification (Scotland) is designed to equip learners with the knowledge and skills needed to comply with legal requirements related to the sale and supply of alcohol. Aimed at individuals working in the licensing industry in Scotland, the course covers essential topics such as understanding the law, recognising acceptable forms of identification and effectively managing conflict situations. Learners will gain a comprehensive understanding of how to implement and adhere to an age verification policy, ensuring they can confidently request proof of age and refuse sales when necessary. This training is crucial for all employees involved in alcohol sales, helping to minimise the risk of alcohol-related harm and ensuring compliance with the Licensing Scotland Act. Learners are assessed at the end of the course and must achieve a minimum pass mark. Individual licences must be used within a 12 month period.
