This examination must be supervised by a Highfield accredited tutor. For example, if a Level 3 Food Safety delegate fails the initial exam and the client requests a re-sit, the trainer must travel to the site, set up the exam and remain in the room throughout its duration. Level 3 exams typically require 1.5 hours, while Level 4 exams can take between 2.5 and 3 hours, depending on the subject.

HABC examination re-sit fee

The examination re-sit fee applies to remotely invigilated exams, where Highfield conducts the exam invigilation online while the learner completes it remotely. Shield Safety arranges the exam with Highfield, informs the learner of the scheduled date and the learner must ensure that all system checks are completed beforehand. Once the learner is prepared, they take the exam online and Highfield’s Remote Invigilation Team oversees the process. Unlike in-person exams, no trainer is required to be present in the room to invigilate the exam.
