Big win at The Grocer Gold Awards 2017

Arguably the most prestigious awards for the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, The Grocer Gold Awards 2017 took place on Tuesday 13 June at the Guildhall in London.

Here at Shield Safety, we were thrilled to have been named a finalist back in April for this year’s event – and the wait was finally over. Our first time attending the awards ceremony, we waited with bated breath for our category to come up – Technology Supplier of the Year.

And… we won!

The category celebrates suppliers ‘whose innovation in 2016 has most meaningfully boosted the sales, profitability, effectiveness and/or reputation of a grocery/fmcg retailer or supplier’ – and Compliance Centre has done just that for our clients across various sectors including many retailers – and continues to do so.

We could not be prouder of this achievement, especially as we were up against such stiff competition. Congratulations to all the worthy finalists and winners and thanks to The Grocer Gold Team for such a great night.
