Shieldyourself Signs Azzuri Group as New Client

Shieldyourself is thrilled to announce a new partnership with leading Italian dining firm, Azzuri Group, in which we will be helping the group achieve comprehensive compliance across all of its 250 restaurants, eateries and retail outlets.

Based in London, Azzuri Group is the market leader in the casual Italian dining sector, operating several popular restaurant chains in the UK including Ask Italian, Zizzi and Coco di Mama. Across its numerous restaurant and dining outlets, Azurri employs over 6,000 staff and serves over 15 million meals a year — each of which is carefully selected to offer an authentic and exciting Italian dining experience at an affordable, value-for-money price.

At the core of the Azzurri Group, Zizzi and Ask Italian have each become incredibly popular, offering guests a unique Italian dining experience at an exceptional price. Both Zizzi and Ask Italian benefit from comprehensive menus, giving greater choice to diners and ultimately lending themselves perfectly to a number of different occasions — from romantic evening meals to parties and other social gatherings.

In a bid to strengthen its growing estate, the Azzuri Group acquired fashionable quick service food brand, Coco di Mama, earlier this year. Impressed by the rapid development of the brand, Azurri’s Chief Executive Steve Holmes commented that “[Coco Di Mama] is a very strong brand which has quickly developed an exciting position in the quick-service food sector”. Differing from Zizzi and Ask Italian, Coco di Mama serves an eclectic mix of cold Italian grab-and-go food, as well as hot pasta dishes and a range of premium coffees.

Having worked with several other leading names in the casual high street dining sector — including Yo! Sushi — we’re well placed to help Azzuri with their on-going compliance efforts.

Danny Dale, Sales Director at Shieldyourself, enthused: “We are delighted to be working with Azzuri Group and hope to support them as they grow their brands and increase their presence on the high street for many years to come.”
