Each year the Health and Safety Executive publishes key figures for Great Britain’s Health & Safety at work. This year’s figures show that work-related stress, depression or anxiety has overtaken work-related musculoskeletal disorders as the most common cause of working days lost in the last year – for the first time ever. Working days lost and fatal injuries have also risen since last year’s figures were published, as has the cost implications of workplace injury and work-related injury and new cases of ill health. The figures in our latest infographic highlight the importance of managing Health & Safety at Work successfully.
