eLearning – Protection of Adults and Safeguarding from Abuse

The eLearning course on Protection of Adults and Safeguarding from Abuse addresses the critical issue of identifying and managing abuse. The course covers essential topics, including defining abuse, outlining current legislation and policies, recognising various forms of abuse and their indicators, understanding responsibilities when abuse is suspected and implementing procedures for reporting and documenting abuse. Additionally, it lists sources of assistance for those involved in abuse situations. Learners are assessed at the end of the course and must achieve a minimum pass mark. Individual licences must be used within a 12 month period.
