eLearning – HACCP Level 3

The eLearning course on HACCP Level 3 equips learners with the essential knowledge and skills to ensure food safety for consumers. Targeted at those assisting in the development of HACCP-based food safety management systems, as well as owners and managers of smaller food businesses, this training covers key aspects of HACCP implementation and maintenance. Participants will understand the necessity and importance of HACCP-based food safety systems, grasp the HACCP approach to food safety procedures and review relevant legislation. The course covers the significance of prerequisite programmes and their contents. Learners will also identify hazards and risks within food preparation or production processes, determine critical control points (CCPs) for significant hazards, and establish critical limits. Additionally, the course details monitoring procedures for CCPs, corrective actions when CCPs fail, and the review and verification requirements for maintaining HACCP-based systems. This comprehensive training ensures participants are well-prepared to develop, implement and manage effective food safety management systems. Learners are assessed at the end of the course and must achieve a minimum pass mark. Individual licences must be used within a 12 month period.
