eLearning – Calorie Labelling

The eLearning course on Calorie Labelling is designed to equip participants with a thorough understanding of the legislation and its application for large food businesses (businesses with 250 or more employees) referred to as the ‘out of home’ sector in the legislation. Through an engaging and informative module, you will delve into the specifics of how calorie labelling is implemented, identify the types of businesses and foods it impacts, and learn the methods for accurate calorie calculation. The course will cover the enforcement mechanisms of the legislation, providing practical examples to illustrate effective application of calorie information. In addition, you will receive valuable tips for displaying calorie information in a clear and consumer-friendly manner. By the end of this course, participants will have a solid foundation in calorie labelling principles, enabling them to enhance transparency and promote healthier choices within the business. This training is essential for anyone working in large food businesses who seek to stay compliant with current regulations and improve customer satisfaction. Learners are assessed at the end of the course and must achieve a minimum pass mark. Individual licences must be used within a 12 month period.
