eLearning – Allergen Awareness and Natasha’s Law

The eLearning course on Allergen Awareness and Natasha’s Law introduces learners to the essential rules and legislation around food labelling and catering concerning food allergies and allergenic ingredients. The course covers the latest updates in allergen management and food labelling, including the pivotal changes brought about by Natasha’s Law. By the end of this course, learners will be able to define food allergies and allergic reactions, differentiate between food allergies and intolerances and identify the 14 allergens that must be labelled by law. The course also highlights the responsibilities of both operators and consumers in providing and understanding allergen information, ensuring compliance with the most current legislation. This training is vital for all team members in hospitality or retail settings. Learners are assessed at the end of the course and must achieve a minimum pass mark. Individual licences must be used within a 12 month period.
