Problem faced by client

With a strong and growing national presence, Revolution Bars Group is a leading operator of premium bars, with soon to be 70 sites located in the UK’s major towns and cities, under the Revolution and Revolución de Cuba brands.

Before working with Shield Safety, Revolution Bars Group Head of Compliance, Mike Buckley had a wealth of information in multiple places and had difficulty viewing overall risk across the multiple locations.

Shield Safety’s solution

From years of experience as the No.1 choice for hospitality businesses, Shield Safety worked closely with Revolution Bars Group from the outset and built them a tailor-made package, to reduce risk, improve processes and meet legal requirements.

Mike was drawn to Shield Safety by their award-winning software, Compliance Centre, and was particularly impressed with its ability to pull everything together in one online tool. Compliance Centre, allows different areas of a business to work in collaboration towards the countless obligations that need to be met.

“I really like how the software is laid out and how easy it is to navigate. We can track issues, know exactly what needs doing and ring managers to make sure they are doing what they should be doing, and that’s providing the great level of service” says Mike.

As well as Compliance Centre, the largest team of Environmental Health Practitioners in the country provides Revolution Bars and Revolución de Cuba with a full compliance package of Audits, Fire Risk Assessments, Policies, Compliance Diaries and the Safety Advice Line. Mike is especially pleased with the dedicated service he receives from his Account Manager, from the process of creating tailor-made Diaries to the readily available advice ‘just a phone call away’.

“Three words I would use to describe Shield Safety Group… knowledgeable, they provide the best level of support at all times. Friendly, we have such a great relationship with our Account Manager. And efficient, mainly because of the way the system streamlines processes and how easy it is to follow”.  Mike Buckley, Head of Compliance
