The Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) Excellence Awards has a new look this year and is being billed as the new prestigious awards in environmental health, recognising the originality, creativity, passion and hard work of those in the environmental health sector.
Shield Safety Group is a proud sponsor of the category of Outstanding Environmental Health Team Award, celebrating a team that has delivered a significant improvement to health, wellbeing and environment.
Food Safety and Health & Safety Practitioner, Mark Flanagan, (who also happens to be our Founder and CEO) will be presenting the award to one of the well-deserving shortlist:
- Chiltern DC, Aylesbury DC, LB Camden – HS2Lanc
- Chiltern District Council and South Bucks District Council
- Headquarters Regional Command Environmental Health Team, British Army
- Joint Services Health Unit (Cyprus), HM Forces
- Mid Kent Environmental Health Service
- Worcestershire Regulatory Services, comprising the Community Environmental Health Division and the Technical Services Division

Mark, who was shortlisted for the Outstanding Achievement Award at last year’s awards, sees the event as a key date for the environmental health industry:
