Our much-loved hospitality industry has been severely affected by the current pandemic. That is why we have created the Safe to Trade Scheme (STTS), and why we are giving 10% of the Scheme’s profit back to our chosen charity, Hospitality Action.

Safe to Trade Scheme purpose

Developed by a team of Safety Practitioners and leading industry experts, and administered by Shield Safety Group.

The Safe to Trade charter is designed to:

  • Instil employee and consumer confidence that the business has gone above and beyond the Government guidance, with a feedback & performance rating system for transparency and continual improvement
  • Enable businesses to reopen safely, with ongoing checks and monitoring through compliance controls via our award-winning software and app
  • Independently verify and validate, providing context and evidence that a business is taking safety performance seriously
  • Allow businesses to demonstrate their commitment to trading safely, through robust compliance controls
