The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER) course focuses on maintaining equipment, conducting inspections and ensuring fitness for purpose. Candidates will learn about the types of equipment covered by PUWER, specific risks and how to manage dangerous parts and hazards. The course includes topics on equipment controls, energy isolation, stability, lighting and maintenance operations. It also addresses work equipment markings, warnings and mobile work equipment. This training is essential for both employers and employees to understand legal responsibilities and manage hazards associated with work equipment effectively.
