eLearning – GDPR Awareness

The eLearning course on GDPR Awareness aims to raise awareness of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for individuals who handle or process personal data. Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of data protection laws, the role of the Information Commissioner and the principles of GDPR. The course covers key topics such as identifying Personal Identifiable Data (PID), responding to Subject Access Requests, and maintaining data security online, including email and social media use. Learners will also explore real-life examples of data breaches and their consequences. This course is essential for anyone involved in data handling, ensuring they are well-equipped to maintain compliance with GDPR and safeguard personal information effectively. Learners are assessed at the end of the course and must achieve a minimum pass mark. Individual licences must be used within a 12 month period.
