eLearning – Beer Styles

The eLearning course on Beer Styles aims to provide an in-depth knowledge of beer styles for both licensed premises staff and beer enthusiasts. Learners will gain the ability to confidently inform customers about the various products available, including their style and strength. The course will cover the primary ingredients of beer and their contributions to flavour and aroma. Participants will also learn to identify different packaging formats and the appropriate serving temperatures for each. Additionally, the course will explore various craft beer styles, their unique qualities and suitable food pairings. By the end of this course, learners will be equipped to merchandise a range of craft beers effectively and recommend them to customers with confidence. This qualification is useful for all bar staff, enhancing their ability to engage customers and foster a thriving craft beer culture. Individual licences must be used within a 12 month period.
