Allergen Management Review

The Allergen Management Review (AMR) is an essential services as all food businesses are legally obliged to manage allergens. The management of allergens is often very intricate and requires collaboration among various teams. To ensure food safety, each team must diligently perform their responsibilities. When businesses face prosecution for failing to handle allergens appropriately, officials will examine not only the specific incident but also the overall food safety culture and commitment to allergen management. The AMR encompasses the following services: Review of product specifications and menu (2 days); review of allergen matrix (1 day); on-location visit to assess the allergen management process (1 day) per location. Upon completion of the AMR, you will receive detailed reports covering both the review and each location visit conducted. These reports, accessible via the Audit module, will identify gaps, non-conformances, and recommend steps for improvement. A Safety Consultant will present these findings along with practical solutions to address the identified issues. The AMR offers an independent review of the organisation’s allergen control measures, challenging assumptions and providing a benchmark for year-on-year progress.
